Easy Run - Tuesday, 23rd December 2009

Did an easy run of 78.20 minutes today, after yesterday's tempo bit of strain to start with, had a slight right leg niggle but comfortable in the end. Did a bit of pacing in the end and about 100 m sprint at the finish.

Tempo - Tuesday, 22nd December 2009

Did a tempo of 35 minutes today, total running time 71.43 minutes, maintained good pace throughout the tempo, was able to sustain 35 minutes tempo, cool down for 18 minutes.

The Ambler Warning

Just finished reading "The Ambler Warning" by Robert Ludlum, a book published posthumously in 2005 after his death in 2001. This is Ludlum at his brilliant best, beautifully woven story, excellent narrative, a genius at story telling.

Marine Drive - Sunday, 20th December 2009

Today's long run at Marine Drive turned out to be a short run, only 42.53 minutes. Heavyness was too much in the legs, arms were bogging me down, overall not good at all, lack of sleep last two days and upset stomach today main culprits

Easy Run - Saturday, 19th December 2009

Did an easy run of 77.04 minutes today, after yesterday's gym work, energy levels were good. Finished with 100 metres sprinting.

Track Intervals - Thursday 17th December 2009

Did track intervals today, 6 rounds (last time 5 ) of 900 metres each interspersed with 400 metres of easy run. Started with 1.5 kms of easy run, followed by some stretching, overall pace was okay, unable to go flat out completely because of the dirt track. Concluded with 400 metres of easy jog and then followed with some stretching.

True Believer

Just finished reading "True Believer" by Nicholas Sparks, did not realise it was a romance fiction, my first and hopefully my last ever. There was nothing in it.
